RMAF MiG-29N & Etihad Airways A330-300 model

Oh my; This blog is not updated for months already! Thanks to the duties at the workplace.

Anyhow,Since it's still the month of Syawal,I would like to wish everyone "Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri,Maaf Zahir dan Batin".

For this post; I would like to share my latest plane models:

* Royal Malaysian Air Force Mikoyan MiG-29N
* Etihad Airways A330-300 "Essential Abu Dhabi: your pass to the magic"

First,the Mikoyan MiG-29,of Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF).The aircraft model was part of "Fighter Aircraft Collections" Magazine,released every forthnightly. The aircraft (M43-06) was attached to 17 Sqn,Kuantan-Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah AFB (known as "Home of the Fulcrums"-while Gong Kedak AFB,Terengganu is known as "Home of the Flankers").Scale is 1:100,and here are the photos of the model:

17 Sqn now bears the bat logo,and they are also known as "Smokey Bandits".


The armaments fitted on this model: (From L to R):
1. Vympel R-27 (AA-10 "Alamo") Medium-to-Long range air-to-air missile
2. Vympel R-60 (AA-8 "Aaphid") short range air-to-air missile
3. Vympel R-73 (AA-11 "Archer") short range air-to-air missile


The belly of the fighter jet,and it was painted in 'lo-viz' scheme.


Second,was the Etihad Airways A330-300.The plane model was manufactured by Lupa Models of The Netherlands.Scale was 1:500 ,and was painted in "Essential Abu Dhabi: your pass to the magic" livery,but it was commonly known as "Visit Abu Dhabi" livery.The model itself was exclusively for in-flight sale onboard Etihad Airways flight.
