Pan Am Boeing 727-200 (N4749) 1:400 scale model, by Apollo

The second model I would like to share with you guys is Pan American (Pan Am) Boeing 727-200 (N4749), in 1:400 scale by Apollo.

The aircraft (727-235), was delivered originally to National Airlines on April 1969, and she was christened "Bonnie". Upon the acquisition of National by Pan Am in 1980, she was renamed as "Clipper Quick Step", but her registration was retained. The aircraft was also leased by Braniff in January 1992. She was later withdrawn from use (WFU) in Braniff blue color scheme in late 1992, and brought to Tuscon, Arizona in August 1993, and she was finally broken up a month later.

Here are the photos of the model:

First, the Thai ATR 72-200. The aircraft (HS-TRB, christened "Chai Nat") was delivered to Thai on 20 April 1990, and on 1 October 2010, the aircraft was later transferred to its subsidiary Nok Air. The aircraft however retains its registration.

And here are the photos:

And here she is...

...and the info about her.

Among the information plaque displayed at the Grand Old Lady memorial. However, some of the plaques went missing, and the authorities should take action to restore the memorial.

Miri & Brunei Darussalam (18-20/04/2014)

OK, It's been a while since my last post here, and just realized I didn't write a single thing for the month of April, especially my 3 day 2 night trip to Miri and a quick tour around Brunei Darussalam.

The trip was supposed to be done by me and my office mate, but due to unforeseen circumstances, she was unable to join, and therefore it's became a single trip for me.

The trip took around 8 hours via bus, with a stop at Bintulu to pick up passengers. And the place where i stay was Imperial Palace Hotel.

On the next day, me, alongside my cousin and her father went for a quick tour of Brunei Darussalam, especially Kuala Belait and Seria. And it was exciting to see another neighboring country (after my first foreign trip to Singapore last year).

Will share the photos here later on.
