Sarawak Awaits 2014: The waiting is now over; Welcome onboard, YAB Tan Sri Adenan Satem & Thank You Pehin Sri.

Here it is, and it's official.

The Fifth Chief Minister of Sarawak, YAB Tan Sri Datuk Amar Haji Adenan Bin Haji Satem.

He had officially took the oath of office at the Astana today, in front of the outgoing Governor of Sarawak, Tun Datuk Patinggi Abang Haji Muhammad Salahuddin.

Heartiest Congratulations, and Welcome onboard to this ship called "Sarawak" YAB Tan Sri. May your experience will be useful during your tenure of the skipper of the ship called "Sarawak".

And to our 4th Chief Minister, Pehin Sri Haji Abdul Taib Mahmud, Thank you for your service. Love him or hate him, he is indeed a person deserved a respect.

Latest addition to my collection: National B727-100 by Gemini Jets

Introducing my latest addition to my collection, although this model was released in 2010.

The aircraft, B727-35,began its first flight on August 18 1965 and delivered brand-new to National Airlines on September 3rd,1965, and christened as 'Gail'. She remains in National service until  January 7th 1980,where National Airlines was acquired by Pan Am. Retaining her registration (N4617), she was repainted in Pan Am colors,and re-christened 'Clipper Young Brander'.

After 4 years in service, in 1984, she was acquired by other operator, and she served twice in South America, with:

* Avianca Colombia (as HK-3203 and HK-3203X)
* Faucett Peru (as OB-1465).

The aircraft was later withdrawn from use and kept in storage ever since.

Latest addition to my collection : SilkAir Airbus A320-200 by Herpa

This model became my latest addition to my collection. The SilkAir A320-200 model was made by Herpa, exclusively for their in-flight sales, and also on their DutyFree Online Shop as well. The registration on the plane model was 9V-SLJ. Herpa had been commissioned for this official in-flight sale model, where there are 3 versions:

(a) 9V-SLA (2004-2006)

(b) 9V-SLB (2006)

(c) 9V-SLJ (2010).
