Latest addition to my collection: Malaysian Airline System Airbus A300B4-203 by Aeroclassics

Just received another model in my collection; although it's an old release, but its rarity makes me looking for it.And when the opportunity window opens,I decided to grab it at all costs, because if i missed it,It's gonna take me another long time to find it.

And the model was Malaysian Airline System Airbus A300B4-203,9M-MHA in delivery color.Released by Aeroclassics on 15th February 2008,this model would become one of the 3 MAS A300,which is:

* 9M-MHB (15th March 2008)

*9M-MHC (Malaysia Airlines color,15th March 2009,a year after Hotel Bravo was released)

(photos courtesy of Aeroclassics website)

And here is the photo of the actual model, which i've received yesterday:

Hotel Alpha alongside her younger sibling,Hotel Delta:

And my attempt to create a 'retro' photo of Hotel Alpha

The actual aircraft (msn 073) was delivered to MAS on 30th of October 1979,and it ushers the wide-body era in MAS history. And it also marks the long term relationship between MAS and Airbus, which stands up to this day when MAS orders the newer A330-300 to replace its first-generation A330-300 and also the A380 jumbo jet.

After 16 years serving MAS,she was officially retired in 1995,alongside her other 3 sibling. She later went to the United States, and re-registered N224KW,and she later wears the color of Carnival Airlines:

And in 1998,after the collapse of Carnival Airlines, she was acquired by Pace Cargo Enterprises, and her passenger flight ended when she was converted into a freighter, which is B4-203(F).And in 2002,another operator,Express Net Airlines took her as one of their A300Fs,and she still retains her registration (N224KW),and she was spotted in all-white color:

However, since the airline is inactive since 2008,it is highly possible that she no longer flies.According to airfleets.net,she was stored at Detroit,MI since November 2006.

Kuching (10-11/09) : The Final Day

11/09/2013,the final day.The seminar was supposed to end with a dinner that night, but we've decided to skip the dinner, and fly back to Sibu later that day.

Morning view from our room

Breakfast at Waterfront Cafe,Hilton Kuching.

After the breakfast,we later head on to the seminar, and decided to grab another round of breakfast,

Speech by YB Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hassan on the second day

Around noon,We've decided to leave the seminar early, and to have a short walk around the City before returning back to Sibu later that day.And the place we're going is Plaza Merdeka.

First time visiting here; and it was simply awesome.

Interesting info for the first timer

Afterwards,we later returned to the Hotel for check-out procedures, and decided to lay down at the lobby for a long time. And at the same time,I've received a news that a fellow aviation enthusiast,a Captain with Malaysia Airlines is having a night stop at Kuching that day.So I've managed to contact him via FB,and meet him at the lobby.Glad to meet him and talk lots of things, especially aviation.

Around 1800 hrs,we later move on to the airport, however the weather is pretty bad due to the heavy rain couple of hours earlier.Upon arriving at the airport,we later proceeded to the departure hall since all of us had checked in via online. However I had made a grave error where i did not notice that I'm holding my fellow guy boarding pass, and he holds mine! The error was quickly informed by the security guards after the body check, and I quickly apologize for the error.

Since the weather was bad on the return flight; So I've decided not to snap photo. But the landing was quite rough; a first time for me since flying with ATR.And the flight was:

Flight: MH 3704
Airline: MASwings
Aircraft: ATR 72-500
Registration: 9M-MWC "Mulu"
Seat: 10F

On October,I'm gonna hit the road again, first to Kuching for the PBB Convention, and later to West Malaysia via air for my youngest brother convocation. The route for the West Malaysia journey will be  SBW-JHB-KUL-LGK-KUL (confirmed); only the KUL-SBW leg is yet to be confirmed. The SBW-JHB and KUL-LGK-KUL will be with AirAsia, and JHB-KUL will be with Malindo. Well, that's another story, and i will tell you guys about it later on.
