Eid-ul-Fitr 2013- Photos snapped while on-duty at Open houses

On the 6th and 7th day of Syawal (13/08 and 14/08),I was on-duty for the Majlis Ramah Tamah Hari Raya Aidilfitri Bahagian Sibu 2013 and Majlis Hari Raya bersama Ketua Menteri on the next day.

Below are the photos of the events; First,the Majlis Ramah Tamah Hari Raya Aidilfitri Bahagian Sibu 2013 held at Kingwood Hotel.

The day after,a similar program was held at YB Dr.Annuar Rapaee residence,however the number of guests were smaller than yesterday.And here are the photos

Not long after that,The Chief Minister arrived

Shortly afterwards,all of us gathered along for 'berjarah' (visiting) at the same place.

8th of August,2013 marks the Eid festival for the year 2013.And here are the highlight photos snapped during the 1st day of Eid:

At ancestral residence,No.9,Jalan Nanas.At the same time,my uncle and cousin already entertain guests visiting them.

Visit from Sibu Toastmasters Club & Diamond Gavel Speakers Club,Toastmasters International Affiliate on the 1st day of Eid.First time visit by fellow Toastmasters.

Visit to Kelab Pidato Toastmasters Sibu (KPTS) Club President,Mrs.Zaiton A.Kader...

... and also to the Club treasurer,Ms.Mariam Talib. Thanks to the TI DvG Mohammad Hisham and also VPE Sibu Toastmasters Club,Ms.Lydia Wong for the ride.

And for the 2nd day of Eid (9/08/2013) :

My eldest cousin,Lundu District Officer Azmi Bujang also paid visit to our home.Unfortunately his youngest and only daughter are still alongside his youngest sister.

And later that night,his youngest sister,Zurina Bujang came to our home,alongside his husband,his kids and also her niece as well.

...and instead of showing his face,he shows his dad Note 2 instead.

My nieces,Syasya and Syahirah.Both were grown-ups now,and how time really flies.

The Kampung Datu Great Fire,19/06/2013

On 19th of June,a sad event befalls to the people of Sibu,where Kampung Datu Lama,was nearly wiped out in a great fire.Nearly 100 houses were razed in this tragic event; even more worst than the fire occurred at Kampung Nangka on the 2nd day of Eid,last year.Here are the photos which I've snapped when me and my office mate rushed to the scene,and also from the Kampung Hilir side:

...and when we arrived somewhere near Kampung Hilir,the fire is ablaze,and I was utterly dumbfounded.

This is the second time I've witnessed a fire incident with my own eyes,and believe me,you will feel a goosebumps while watching it.
