Joining the YB entourage for a day

Wow,a day for me this Sat.Been attending 2 events did worn me out.And for yesterday,I'm joining the Member of Sarawak State Assembly (ADUN) for Nangka area,YB Dr.Annuar Rapaee and his Personal Assistant,Mr.Rafiq Nur Adli to hand out MRP Cheques to the Tuai Rumah surrounding his area at Federal Complex (Block 3).Below are the photo of the meeting:

Afterwards,three of us had to leave the meeting early,as we need to go to Kampung Jeriah,which been struck by flash flood due to the heavy rain and thunderstorm earlier that day.Upon arriving at the meeting point (Old Mosque site),we were greeted by the members of the village committee.

Mr.Ting,an Engineer with Department of Irrigation and Ditches (DID) explains the possible solution to reduce the risk of being hit by flood again.

This road,according to the villagers is usually accessible by all vehicles,but due to the flash flood,it was completely cut off.Only the heavy vehicles can pass this section of the road.

An useful experience for me as well,after returning home.
